Late Night Thoughts

There are so many stories that I want to share here in my blog.. but my busy schedule would not allow me to do so.. Blogging became my least priority these past few years.. and I want to bring back my excitement in this hobby.. Before this year ends.. I will post here all the adventures I have encountered during my personal and professional journeys.

TBH, I fell short to my New Year's resolution, which is to post here at least twice a week.. (sigh). This blog, as my online journal, became my companion ever since I started to teach in DepEd, This is my way of preserving all my wonderful memories as I journey in this life as a brave teacher. I honestly don't know if anyone is really quite interested in this blog... Nevertheless, I will keep this as my simple online presence, and perhaps, I might be able to convert this into a great and famous platform of Community of Practice (COP) together with my fellow teachers in the country or even worldwide.. Haha! 

Tonight, I promise to post here as often as I can! 

Nutrition Month 2018 Theme

The National Nutrition Council (NNC) Technical Committee selected this year’s Nutrition Month theme. After thorough review by the NNC Secretariat and Technical Committee of the 142 entries received by the NNC, the chosen theme for this year’s Nutrition Month campaign is “Ugaliing magtanim, Sapat na nutrisyon aanihin!,” an entry sent by Ms. Julie Ann Q. Colipano of Valencia City, Bukidnon. ~ NCC

School Calendar for SY 2018-2019

Classes in public schools will formally open on June 4, 2018. School Year 2018-2019 has 208 school days, inclusive of the five-day In-Service Training and three days for the Parent-Teacher Conferences conducted within the school year.

Be guided by the following implementing guidelines of the SY 2018-2019 Calendar of School Activities.

National Bookstore Shopping

Went to National Bookstore, SM Valenzuela today and bought some school supplies and new books to read...

Here are my purchases:

SCHOOL SUPPLIES:
1. Smart Fit Ring Binder (Twist Ring) - will use this for my research and review notes this summer.
2. Green Apple Notebook (80 pages)
3. Energel 0.5mm Ball Needle Point (Black and Red)
4. Dong-A Twin Permanent Marker - I basically used this for writing headers in my notes.
5. Dong-A My-Metal 0.7 - for writing my keywords to remember in my lecture notes and flash cards.
6. Three Packs Workx Board (8.5 x 13) - will use these for my IPCRF Accomplishment Reports.

BOOKS:
1. Steps to the Top by Zig Ziglar - because I am a Self-Help Book lover and I'm a fan of Mr. Ziglar.
2. Get a Life... Online by Mighty Rasing (Filipino author), because I feel I badly need his advice in using Internet more productively.. hehe!

The total amount I spent for all these... PHP 1,136.50! I felt I was robbed.. haha!
